The Rest of Halloween...

Here's a few last pictures and then we're done with Halloween for this year...Hailey and Kelcie decided that this wall needed to be a little spookier so they added a few of their own decorations!
Here's the girls before we headed off to the ward Trunk-R-Treat. Erika makes a stinkin' cute hippie!

Hailey was a lovely flapper - she had a hard time deciding what to be this year. I think she made a good choice!
Kelcie was a pirate girl - I think she pulled it off!
Unfortunately I got too busy talking and visiting at the trunk-r-treat to remember to pull out my camera so you'll have to take my word for it that we had a great time.

Then, when we came home I didn't take any pictures of the girl's loot because we all snuggled up on the couch and watched "Watcher in the Woods." That movie scared me half to death when I was 12 years old but watching it again now was almost hilarious! The acting and the special effects were terrible - both have come a long way since 1980!
The fun of Halloween didn't quite end there though - despite the bad acting and lousy effects, Hailey was up in the middle of the night, freaked out from the movie. I got her settled back down and was just drifting back to sleep when Kelcie came in with a bad dream too. She settled into bed with me for her 10 minute snuggle when I noticed that she kept scratching herself. I finally asked her what she was doing and she said that she was itching all over. I started checking her out and she was covered in hives! So then I had to track down the benadryl and cortisone cream - got her squared away and back into bed. Needless to say, I didn't really get that extra hour from turning my clock back - spent it up with the girls instead!
So Halloween has been thoroughly celebrated and we're ready to move on to Thanksgiving!

I loved that movie when I was a kid too!! I am afraid to see it now because I loved Xanadu when I was a kid and after I had grown up I watched it and it was soooo dumb! Now I am afraid to watch anything I really liked when I was a kid. Ha ha!
