Gratitude Continued...

Melodie Beattie:
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity.... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.

More things I am thankful for:

1. I am so thankful that I have an education. I am even more grateful that I am two classes away (plus student teaching) from finishing my Master's Degree - yay! (It'll be sooooo nice to be done)

2. I am grateful for my health and the health of my family. We have been fortunate to have three healthy kids (knock on wood) who rarely get sick. We've never even had strep throat in our family - amazing!!

3. I am grateful that I will finally be able to start working next week - I've missed being in the classroom! And I'm grateful that Eric has, not one, but two good jobs that he enjoys doing and that he's good at. Thanks for keeping a roof over our heads honey!

4. I am thankful for all the little luxuries that I take for granted - cars, refrigerators, bathrooms, hot water, washing machines, stoves, air conditioning, heat, etc. It's hard to imagine a life without them and yet there are so many people in this world who can't imagine a life WITH them! I am grateful indeed...

5. I am grateful for those good, gut-wrenching laughs that make life so enjoyable! They come from so many sources - kids, husbands, sisters, parents, babies, toddlers, tv shows, movies, Brian Regan, friends - I love a good laugh and am so grateful that I get them often! :)
