It was another beautiful weekend - well, I guess yesterday was pretty windy but that didn't stop us from keeping ourselves busy. Here's what our weekend looked like:
Friday afternoon/evening, the girls had a Multi-cultural Festival at their school which celebrates different cultures around the world. Kelcie's class focused on Brazil and Hailey's class focused on Australia.
Then the girls focused on getting their faces painted! A good time was had by all!
Then we came home and watched "Ever After" with the girls. We haven't watched it in awhile but it's one of our favorites!
Saturday was a busy day. Erika had soccer and managed to get kicked in the wrist - a trip to Quick Care confirmed that it wasn't broken but she found if painful regardless!
My Mom's birthday was this week so my sisters and I took her to lunch on Saturday and then we went and got pedicures - it was the best!
Then Eric mowed the lawn- good job Eric!
And I went to the library - it was Amnesty Week so now all my library cards are "fine free!"
Then we watched the American Idol results show that we'd recorded earlier in the week. We weren't too sad to see Cristy Lee Cook go. We're hoping that David Cook goes all the way - he's awesome!!
We also watched an episode of "Little People Big World" that we'd recorded - it's on TLC. We really like to watch this family!
Don't you think weekends are the best? I love being able to break from our everyday routine and get things done around the house, run errands, head to soccer games and relax together as a family. I just wish they weren't so short - (weekends, not little people)!

Fun weekend. I am with you on the Kristy Lee Cook thing, I can't believe she made it that far.
