As you can see, I've been trying to change my background to something more interesting but because my computer abilities are, apparently, quite limited, I'd given up for awhile and then finally enlisted Eric's help. I think I've got the details figured out so I should be good to go for awhile.
ANYWAY, we had a three day weekend because of staff development so here's a few things that we did - minus pictures because altho I carried the camera around in the car with me, I didn't actually pull it out and take any pictures. Just know that I COULD have IF I had thought about it!
1. Straightened up the garage - it desperately needed it. It's amazing what you can get rid of when you drag it out to the curb and put FREE on it (in English and Spanish)!
2. Reorganized Erika's room and closet. It's amazing what you can get rid of when you drag it out of your daughter's stuffed drawers and hiding places - good grief! We put another shelf in her closet and switched out some dressers and lo and behold, she actually has a system now!! I introduced her to the idea of hanging up all her school shirts - apparently, I had never mentioned this trick to her and she was amazed to see how many clothes she really does have!
3. Went to Erika's soccer game - I have to take pictures next week because I have to say that Erika totally rocks when it comes to soccer! She's been doing a lot of conditioning and it's really paying off on the field - she's faster than she's ever been. She's an awesome soccer player!
4. Finished our last Star Wars movie from our marathon that we started last weekend. Since there's six of them, it's not a trilogy - what's it called when there's six? Anyway, I think we might do some StarTrek movies next.
6. Eric started his new job today. Yay! He's working for a company called WorldDoc - they produce software for hospitals, doctors, large companies who need to keep track of their employees health needs, etc. He's still doing his real estate investments but because of the current economy, stability comes first. His new job is perfect for him - he works as a liason between their clients and the company - at least I think that's what he does!
7. Last, but not least, I took the girls down to the Municipal Pool and let them swim for a couple hours this afternoon. You can only imagine the amount of fun that was had! I think Kelcie drank half the pool (ugh!) and Hailey and Erika swam like fish - they should all be sleeping good tonight!
So that's the update for our house. I feel better now that I have revisited my blog - it's amazing how addicting it can become! Check for more updates soon!

Bravo!!! Well done, and very cute background!
I love the background... It's just awful when your computer can't keep up with your creativity!!! Hopefully you will have better luck from now on!
I am so happy Eric got a new job. Tell him congratulations. It sound like you had some fun this weekend.
