I'm a little late getting these posted but I have to show off the rose bushes that are blooming in our front yard. We have an entire row of roses that border our front walk and they are all starting to come into bloom. We have had desert landscaping (ie. rocks) for so long, that it's been so fun to enjoy a green yard. Eric and my dad spent a couple of hours on Saturday mowing and trimming everything and it looks so nice. Our back yard needs some attention too - probably this weekend. We have a bunch of foilage back there too but at some point we'll have to replace the grass because it was ruined by the dogs that used to live here. It's a great space though with lots of room - my dream is to put a pool in someday...I think the girls share that dream with me!
In other news, Hailey gave her first Family Home Evening lesson last night - so sweet! She had us draw papers out of a bag and read them and then discuss what Jesus would have us do in those situations. It sparked a lot of great conversation about different situations and how we would/should act and it really brought a sweet spirit into our home. Sometimes monday nights get busy and in the past, Eric has usually taught a class on monday nights so our FHE has been more hit and miss than I would like, but nights like last night remind me how inspired the brethern are to keep urging us to make that a priority. It definitely makes a difference.

The only thing about a pool is you have to let us come and play with you!!!!!
