Mixed-Up Monday!

This week is Nevada Reading Week and at the girl's school they have a different dress-up theme for each day and today was Mixed-Up Monday! Hailey and Kelcie were so excited to pick out their crazy, mis-matched outfits last night and thrilled to put them on this morning. They even wore mis-matched tennis shoes! Only problem was that when they got to school, Hailey discovered she was the only one in her class to dress up - not even her teacher did! She was disappointed and felt a little silly to be dressed weird. Kelcie said only a couple of kids in her class did it. Too bad that more parents don't encourage their kids to be super silly on these kind of days!! It was so fun for them and I told them that they were strong and brave to try out fun new things like that. Tomorrow is pajama day - there's usally a strong turnout for that so I don't think we'll have any problems. But yea for my cute, silly, mis-matched girls!
