Time for a little bragging about The Teenager. Last Saturday she ran a 10K - and she totally rocked! She ran it in 1 hour and 22 minutes - impressive for a 12 year old girl! Her soccer coach made the suggestion a couple months ago and she and her teammate Emily (also shown in these pictures) were the only ones (along with their coach) who followed through. I was so proud of her! Eric & I and the girls stalked her through out the race, holding up posters and cheering for her - she pretended to be embarassed but I think she actually loved it! Then, an hour after the race was over she had to go play in her soccer game. She was a tired out girl!
And then, if I weren't already busting at the seams with motherly pride, The Teenager also had Young Women's in Excellence last night.
She really is "Excellent" in all that she does!
