Kelcie-ism

I don't have much time to write but I had to blog our latest "Kelcie-ism." Eric and I were laying in bed talking this morning - about 7:20 am (because we had been woken up by Erika's cell phone, which "sleeps" in our room) when the door flew open and Kelcie came bounding in with her arms outstretched, singing at the top of her lungs (to the tune of Joy to the World):

"Joy To The World, Kelcie is Awake!!"

Maybe you had to be there but it was so unexpected and out of the blue, and so Kelcie that it just cracked us up! Can you imagine greeting the morning with such enthusiasm? And with the expectation that the whole world is filled with joy just because you're awake? I love that funny girl!

So anyway, off I go! I've had a two-day Relief Society retreat, came home and wrote up some stuff for my class and now we're headed to the park for a picnic with the family and then the park is showing E.T. on their big screen so I need to pull myself together. Fortunately my awesome husband has done all the laundry, cleaning and shopping for me today so that I could get all my other stuff done. He's the best!
