I Passed - Almost!

Ok, so here's how it went down. I passed the Reading and Writing sections with flying colors but missed passing the Math section by 3 lousy points - ugh!! Why do the math gods persist in torturing me? What did I ever do to them? (Let's not answer that...) It would be one thing to fail in a spectacular sort of way but by only 3 points? And here's the thing...it's not really because I did poorly - I just ran out of time - I'm not bad at math, I'm just slow. I had three problems I didn't answer because the test timed-out and I couldn't finish. So now I have to re-study the math stuff again and I can re-take the test at the beginning of October. I'm bummed because I was hoping to start subbing again this month but I can't do it until I pass the darn test. (I'm cursing under my breath...sort of...)

So for now, I will console myself with reading "Midnight Sun" on Eric's laptop, in bed, with my box of Milk Duds - yes, I know I comfort myself with food but that's an issue for another day...a shout out to Shiela for her Sweeet and Sour Chicken crockpot recipe that she posted the other day - it's cooking in my crockpot as we speak so my family will not go hungry tonight! Thanks!

PS - What do you think it says about me that all I could think of on the way home from the testing center was how I was going to blog this entry?! I'm seriously addicted to this blogging phenomena - and I don't even feel bad about it!
