January is over at last!! It is a beautiful February 1st in Las Vegas - about 65 degrees and a light breeze. The next 3-4 months are the reason why it's bearable to live here - it's so beautiful and I just want to be outside all the time. I know our winters are short here but the longer I live here, the less I can tolerate them. Wimpy, huh? Oh well!
Life is settling back to normal around here. The girls are doing great at school, Erika is in the middle of her indoor soccer season and Eric and I are busy. Eric normally only teaches one night class at the community college but this semester he picked up a total of three, which is great but also means that he's not home in the evening very much. Between that and his Young Men's calling, we pretty much only run into him on Thursday nights and the weekend but it's all good. Not much else is new - we're all set to watch the Superbowl this afternoon. Who are you rooting for? I pretty much make the food, turn on the tv and ask who's playing, who we're rooting for and then defect to the winning team if I don't like how the game is going! I imagine that other people take it a little more seriously than I do but hey, at least I'm showing up! More later!

About the superbowl...I am the same way. But this year I told Chris that it was my Sunday to take a nap, and he was in charge of the kids. It worked for a little while, and I didn't watch any of the game. Besides the headache and the back apin, it was an enjoyable Superbowl Sunday!
The weather is SWEET!!! I can hardly stand staying inside!
