Radio Silence

My recent radio silence means that I've started another class this week and I've also been knocked over the head with a mammoth cold - hence, very little to write about. Remember the scene in "When Harry Met Sally" when they're on the phone together watching TV and Harry thinks he's coming down with something and all he feels like doing is that little moan? Ughh....Ughh...Ughh.... that's about as articulate as I was yesterday. I think I'm on the mend - bless the makers of NiQuil and Airborne.

A quick "Kelcie-ism" and then I'm off.

We had a hideous morning yesterday - partly because I wasn't feeling well and partly because I had to wake her up - which is rare but very scary! Anyway, she was groaning and moaning and complaining and then told me that when she feels mad and all her stuffed animals are just sitting on her bed "smiling" (insert a very snotty tone here) that she just wants to knock them all on to the floor. Oh dear.... one of these days I'm afraid I will walk into her room and find decapitated stuffed animals that suffered at her hand during a fit of rage...is it too early for prozac?! I'm only sort of kidding...and yet, I think I understand exactly how she feels sometimes....I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Sigh....
