It's Spring Break - Here's What We've Been Doing!

We are enjoying a nice break from our regular routine. Let me show you what we've been up to! On Monday we drove downtown to Mandalay Bay and took in a visit to the Shark Reef. A friend of mine home-schools her kids and she got us a killer deal on tickets. It's been a long time since we've been (Kelcie was still in a stroller!) so we had a great time!

This is a big clear tunnel you can walk through with sharks and all kinds of fish swimming all around you - very cool!

This is a hands-on area where the kids can touch the sting rays. Hailey and Erika got really into it but Kelcie didn't touch one until the very end!

Then, since we were with a school group, we went into a "classroom" where the kids learned about the food chain. Hailey got to be a crab in the play that told about how the food chain works.

Don't you think she makes a cute crab?!

So anyway, Monday was also St. Patrick's Day. Kelcie made a Leprechaun trap for a school project so she set it out in hopes of catching one - no luck, but they did leave some goodies behind!

Tuesday was a nice day so we met my sister Melissa and her kids and Grandma & Grandpa for lunch. Then Melissa and I took the kids to the park. Kelcie LOVES to climb - as you can see!

This is a cute group of girlie cousins! Erika is holding Ella, then Sierra, Hailey and Kelcie. It was such a beautiful day - I even discovered I had sunburned the right side of my face and neck later that night!

And speaking of later that night, we also took in a double feature at the drive-in! We saw "Horton Hears a Who" and "Spiderwick." Erika invited her friend Lauren to go with us so we had a car-full of cute girls who had a great time!

So that concludes our adventures so far! We have a few other things planned for the rest of the week so we'll keep you posted!

fun fun, so sad we missed the lunch at BK. I know Michael greatly enjoys his big girl cousins!

Honestly, You said you would be like me, and I don't think I did one single fun thing all week with my kids. It it settled then, I am the most horrid mother!!!! You are great.
Oh and I am completley jealous about the drive-ins!! That is one of those vegas things you don't realize you miss till some one says how much fun they had, then you think " Oh I want to go there!!!"
Happy spring break!
