Happy Birthday Kelcie!

As most mothers do on their children's birthdays, I find myself reflecting on Kelcie's birth - eight years ago (in the morning!). I had an easy c-section, after a difficult pregnancy and was relieved and thrilled to meet our third daughter. We had a few names we were considering but when I finally got to hold her in the recovery room, I knew without a doubt, that Kelcie Rose was here! She has been a joy to us in every way - I can't imagine a life that didn't have her in it! Here are a few recent photos of our Kelcie!









Here are a few fun facts about Kelcie these days.

1. She loves her hula-hoop!
2. Her best friend's name is Kayla
3. She loves to imagine that she lives in "Chocolate World!"
4. She has become an excellent reader and has begun to read for pleasure - Junie B. is her favorite.
5. She LOVES stuffed animals - she sleeps with several!
6. Kelcie's favorite thing to do in the whole world is swim!!
7. Her second favorite thing to do is swing!
8. She is very affectionate.
9. She is very passionate about everything she does - good or bad!
10. She has an excellent sense of humor - she's very into jokes right now!

So Happy Birthday to our Dear Kelcie! We are looking forward to her baptism on Saturday and watching her continue to grow into the amazing person that she is!
